I've been addicted to Avanti's food since they opened in the mid 60's. The Gondola is great and a Peoris favorite. The Pizza Burger Prima is good, but the best thing on their menu is their pizza, the Avanti's Special. I have to have this every time I come to visit Peoria.

I would go to the new one on Knoxville if you have a choice. This one has tired decor and the usual teen servers. Needs a facelift. Not as bad as the one on Main of course.

I disagree,I like the decor. Great wait staff and does not need a facelift. The new one on Knoxville is clean because it's new, but lacks the charm of the Avanti's on Rockwood and Main St. I didn't seem like Albert wanted to spend too much on the decor and it shows.
