Banana Pudding From Scratch

INGREDIENTS
Pudding:
1 cup sugar
2 cups milk
1/2 cup flour
2 eggs, seperated; yolks in pudding, ( save whites for top)
1 1/2 banana
1 teaspoon vanilla flavoring
Vanilla waffers

Top:
2 egg whites
2 tablespoons sugar
Small amount of vanilla flavoring
Sprinkle of salt




DIRECTIONS
On low heat in double boiler~
Add milk and egg yolks and bring to a soft boil or until hot.
"Stir in the sugar and flour mix".
Cook and stir until creamy thick.
Add vanilla flavoring and take off stove.
Lay wafers on bottom and sides.
Slice (1) banana and lay on top and sides of wafers.
Pour pudding on wafers and bananas.
Slice (half) banana and put on top of pudding and pieces of wafers scattered all around.
Top;
Beat egg whites. Add 2 tablespoons sugar. After beating whites and sugar add vanilla flavoring (small amount). Add sprinkle of salt.
Pour top on pudding. Cook preheated 400 degrees for about 10 minutes.
