Should the Peoria City Council grant another extension to Gary Matthews to complete the Marriott Hotel project in downtown Peoria? Yes, it is a complicated project and he should get another chance. No, he has failed to perform and that is the end of it. The City should find another developer and project. I don't give a flying flip about the Marriott Hotel project. I think the Marriott project should proceed if the Developer lowers his development fee. No. The city should NOT fund any other private development project either.
