Where is this promised presence of his? . ....
May 14, 2012 - 11:14 pm
Christ’s “presence” since 1914 has gone unnoticed by most of earth’s inhabitants. Soon, however, he will make his presence manifest by executing Jehovah’s judgments on the various elements of Satan’s system of things. The destruction of “the man of lawlessness,” the clergy of Christendom, will be an unmistakable “manifestation of his presence.” (2 Thess. 2:3, 8) It will furnish concrete proof that Christ has moved into action as Jehovah’s appointed Judge. (2 Tim. 4:1) The annihilation of the most reprehensible part of Babylon the Great will serve as a prelude to the total destruction of that wicked world empire of false religion. Jehovah will put it into the hearts of political leaders to devastate this spiritual harlot. (Rev. 17:15-18) That will be the first part of the “great tribulation.”—Matt. 24:21.

Careful with those predictions, TnT:

"No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. Be on guard! Be alert! You do not know when that time will come." (NIV, Mark 13:32-33)

Froggy thanks for the ups on that I am well aware of false teachings. The thing is that man does not know the day or the hour just we are to be on the watch. Tapeworm and Seal are stuck in a mode that they can get over. I have read all of this they have posted many time and many years ago. From a child to where I am today I have been around Jehovahs witness and I still have not seen another religion do as they do. There are falts in every man and from the little things to the big things we all have them. The same with religion we all forget that there are men that head them all and men are not perfect. Some want to say we changed the Bible yes we have but all Bibles are for teaching and learning yes every one can have a different veiw on things. All Bible have been writen by man some have taken things from the Bible. I have never seen the Bible do bad things its a book what has dont bad was man. Other religions to me are not in the place for one Gods word is not for profit preachers should not be paid for preaching Gods word. The elders in the witness do not get paid for there work they give talks from congeration to congertion even if the travel there is no pay. Now the brothers and sisters have a part to. Now if some one travel to your congeration some one will take them to eat of feed them from there house this is a honor for us. If you read what I have posted there are no predictions They are just warning us of what is to come. Yes we do beleive the Jesus is King and has been sence 1914 This would take some time to tell all why and how. Never have i put my trust in some thing so much but I do beleive that God has people. As Jesus stated my flock will know me and I will know them. Amen

The JW's have a LONG history of False predictions, generally to benefit their Upper leadership.

You're right there are good and bad everywhere. Ever hear of the SilentLambs? http://www.silentlambs.org/ Remember through your religions own admissions and your own, your religions view on child abuse and other crimes is to report it to your Elders first and let them "deal" with it first. You also claim a crime can't happen without a witness, odd view in my opinion.

As for being "stuck in a mode", nope I am a realist.

Atheist? Nope not me.

I just don't buy into your, God has a plan for everybody.

As for just using Google, I do a lot of reading and research on subjects..Maybe you should try the same so you understand others viewpoints. But yeah generally close minded individuals that have been brainwashed to a way of thinking aren't able to have understanding, precisely why Wars over Religion are fought.

Yep it's great worshipping a God that believes in making children suffer from diseases they were born with.

Seal for one you forget that you blame God. So next time you do some thing wrong just blame God. Blame God is the easy way out. Sure there were diseases in the Bible but you have to remember man brought this all on there sevels. They choose not to live with God just as people do today. I just cant see what you see in life. I have the chance of everlasting life and you choose to die. Life dead do not understand. SEAL ALSO YOU SAY THE WE ///// The JW's have a LONG history of False predictions, generally to benefit their Upper leadership.
TELL ME WHAT DO THEY GAIN FROM THIS.

I don't blame "God" for anything, it's called personal responsibility.

They lead you into fear and further mind control tactics, aka brainwashing. Fear gives them power over you.

Tnt, I want you to read this verse and think about it:

Deuteronomy 18:22 If what a prophet proclaims in the name of the LORD does not take place or come true, that is a message the LORD has not spoken. That prophet has spoken presumptuously. Do not be afraid of him. (NIV)

For one your calling common man a prophet. I dont need to think on it. Just as the Bible states/////(Proverbs 4:17, 18) . . .. 18 But the path of the righteous ones is like the bright light that is getting lighter and lighter until the day is firmly established.
There is one power over me and its not man its God Jehovah.

Hmm, interesting because I've never been so fearless in all my life. I know what comes next after this life and I know my family will be okay if I'm taken tomorrow. They will be at peace. Being a follower of Christ has given me that peace...the exact opposite of what you're predicting. In fact, I bet if you talk to other true followers of Christ they will tell you the same thing.

I recently read the book "Columbine." It was eye opening and very sad but the part that stuck with me the most was when the author (who witnessed all the after events as a reporter) wrote about the families of the kids waiting for their children to be bussed to them from the school after this thing went down. One by one families were reunited until only the last 13 were left. That's when they knew their kids had been the victims. Then the reporter described how each family reacted. They were all devastated, of course, except that the Christian families were more at peace than the others. In the long run, the Christian families had an easier time dealing with this devastation than the other families. Why? Because of God's strength and love and the promise of life ever after.

Tell me, how is that brainwashing and fear? It's not. You just have no other words in your vocabulary to describe the awesome power of God so you choose those words.

If you don't "fear" God then you aren't following what the Bible tells you to do.

Exodus 14:31 And when the Israelites saw the great power the Lord displayed against the Egyptians, the people feared the Lord and put their trust in him and in Moses his servant.

Exodus 20:18 When the people saw the thunder and lightning and heard the trumpet and saw the mountain in smoke, they trembled with fear. They stayed at a distance and said to Moses, "Speak to us yourself and we will listen. But do not have God speak to us or we will die." (This is one of my favorites when somebody claims God is speaking to them)

Leviticus 19:14 Do not curse the deaf or put a stumbling block in front of the blind, but fear your God. I am the Lord.

Leviticus 25:17 25:17 Do not take advantage of each other, but fear your God. I am the Lord your God.
