I have owned two homes and have a child...but I am still waiting to feel "grown up", and maybe that is a good thing. When did you feel "grown up".

After coming full circle in my life..which probably came faster than most my age because my father was diagnosed with dementia at a very early age. I helped care for him before and after he was moved to a full care facility until he passed last October. I think that his disease and passing aged my sisters, myself and my mom.
He would have been 60 today. |

When did you feel "grown up"?
When karma caught up with me and teenagers put a lit road flare in my plastic mailbox 6 or 7 years ago, melting it to the ground. (I wish I'd have thought of that 20 years ago) Unfortunately.....I will have to loose about a hundred more mailboxes before karma is done with me. |

I'm going to say the day I realized I stopped excessive personal vanity -- like not mowing the lawn until I showered and was wearing something semi-nice (in case someone just stopped by) or would go out to check the mail in whatever I was wearing (sometimes a robe)

Leslie you're a big Johnny Cougar fan. I think HE said it best...
"Growin' up leads to growin' old, and then to dyin. And dyin' to me, don't sound like all that much fun." |
