I just have to say, I get a headache reading some messages/texts.

Words are spelled a particular way for a reason. Nobody is perfect and everyone makes mistakes, but an entire message?

Does anyone else get a headache trying to decipher messages?

Not a headache, but I will sometimes just give up trying to figure out what the message is. If it's that bad, the person doesn't care enough to get their message across.

I text in full sentences. I appreciate people who reply in full sentences

High school teachers pull their hair out in frustration at the increased rate students write papers and take tests using the texting slang. short cuts etc.

Even college admissions officers are seeing a huge increase in this on admission applications and essays. It is no wonder that foreign students are making inroads in US colleges. They are much, much better in math, science and writing.

I saw a resume a few months ago that was all written in ghetto-talk.....
