You're right. It's not damning evidence. Lucky for me, I'm not a ****ing moron and I know what the people overreacting and bitching in this thread are really talking about.

If the teenagers were white, and it didn't happen in Glen Oak Park you people wouldn't really give a **** and this discussion wouldn't exist.

Does it take a "hood rat" teenager to fool around in a park? Are they the only ones who get high and have fun in public places?

It's just obvious to me. When it's "ghetto" when you're talking about "hood rats," yeah, they're not necessarily black, but who the **** are you trying to fool? They're black, and that's the reason you lose your **** minds over every little thing.

WRONG the human rainbow is being used WE got black hood rats we got white hood rats we got beige hood rats. and the reason why iam pissed is because there is an armoured freaking car in front of my kids school because of this animals. o.k. iam racist i dont like people who make it so there is an armoured car in front of my kids school. So what am i racist against. These people are a threat to my child and i want to see them dealt with and i dont care if it is done in a racist way or not. If they dont want the hood rat label maybe they shunt be playing on a grade school play ground. and causing fights on a grade school playground. Ya iam talking about Glen Oak School. Not a place she can come and go as she pleases she has to go there. ONCE AGAIN Glen Oak School. never have had any problems at glen oak park .

What do these "hood rats," in the kaleidoscope of castes, have in common? Besides the fact that they're people you've dubbed "hood rats?"

How is it that kids, getting a little rowdy in the park, have been put in the same category as people who warrant 24 hour surveillance from an armored car?

They put those things in front of "nuisance properties," drug dealers... places where serious **** is going down.

While I feel bad that you have to fear for your children's safety in these neighborhoods... because that stuff is going on...

I can't help but notice that you think some kids recklessly jumping off of a jungle gym in the park (or SCHOOL, my mistake, but who cares, they're within 5 blocks of each other)... are among your greatest causes for concern...

So why are they in the same category? Why are these kids "hood rats?"

Tyler I'll tell you what next time i see there is going to be a problem there meet me at the school and you will see for yourself. We can sit there have a soda and watch the police pepperball everyone in a park. Some people think it is funny it pisses me off. then you and me will have a nice talk about what we just seen. we will agree on somethings and we wont on others.

I'd be too worried the "forced compliance" would be turned on me to enjoy a scene like that. A soda and discussion, I'm always up for.

It's not personal. I don't think you're trying to be racist. I'm only trying to stop stereotypes and misconceptions that happen because of lasting labels and codewords... things get blown out of proportion... and then everyone is getting peppered.

My only hope is that we can avoid that.

Trust me hood rat is a whole lot nicer than what i have heard others say.

The first time i seen The herd get pepperballed i thought it was funny. but when you see and hear it over and over again it stops being funny. we need to get these a@@holes under control.

Couple things ................

Unless I missed it in the 4 pages of postings makemegiggle's child wasn't at the park in front of Glen Oak school.

We don't know the color of the individual teenagers that casued the problems for her. Honestly color is not hte first thing I think about when I hear about teenagers or any kids for that matter misbehaving even though I live in a priomarly black area.

The problems that happen in front of Glen Oak School in the public park area are NOT caused by the kids who go to the actual school. That has been proven over and over again.

I for one am GLAD that the Armidillo is out front of the school. Unfortionatly 99% of the kids who go to school there don't have a choice about what school they go to. It is not their fault that older kids and young adults are making it so that they can not go outside to play at receess and for gym class which was one of the purposes the park ws built to start with. Maybe the focused attention out front will make the troublemakers stop and think before making trouble therefore making the school and grounds safer to the kids who actually go to school there.

When the Peoria Police Department has to place an Armadillo in front of a public school to curb the BS that occurs around it whether it be school related or not, A WHOLE BUNCH of different people, organizations, city council, school board, police, etc. need to step the f*** up big time and kick some ass.

Another ridiculous comeback. If I lived in this neighborhood and this was happening with my kids, I would move. Simple statement.
