I think we are spoiled.... prior to the disinfection of public drinking supplies typhoid, cholera and dysentery killed lots of people, especially babies on a regular basis.

I would rather expose myself to today's modern clean water out of the tap than to any of the traditional water born diseases of the past.

I think I will stick to the centuries old proven solution to uncertain water purity: beer.

Beer is good, it is a food product, that provides nutritional
value.

Speaking to Tap water, where do you people think, our's comes from?

I'll shower in it, but I won't drink it.

Hello group, I was just browsing your discussion on tap water and realized that one of the most alarming facts about drinking water has not come up. Did you know that you can find trace amounts of medications such as antibiotics, anti-convulsants, mood stabilizers and sex hormones in our tap water. That speaks volumes to our dependency on prescription medication.

Six ounces of tap water contains flouride in the amount compared to a pea size blip of toothpaste. Per labeling, contacting poison control is advised if toothpaste is swallowed. And as most liquid potables are made using tap water, the dosage increases. Many communities ban the addition of flouride to their water supply, ours should follow suit. Today I'll contact poison control to report I've ingested poison, tap water. I'll report the results.

Rest assured, if you are a Germantown Hills, Metro Hillbilly.
You are not only drinking the finest tap water in the State
of Illnoise, you are soaping your privates with it, while you shower. so you dont have to worry about crotch rot, from bathing.

....CLAP....CLAP...CLAP...CLAP

Back in The Seventies, there was this town called...Morton,
Everybody, who was anybody lived there.
And life was good, and anybody else was a fly investigating a pumpkin shell.

Now look at that Burg
Shirtsleeves to Shirtsleeves in 3 Generations, happening.
Gee, I hate it for them.

Germantown Hills, what goes around, comes around.

I have my standards.....

Sometimes I make my own beer, and when I do, I'll be damned if I use tap water. Bottled water only. It's beer for pete's sake, I'm not gonna risk contamination
