Yesterday, in the parking lot at Hobby Lobby a young man with clipboard approached me for a signature to get Mitt Romney on the primary ballot.

I was surprised that he wasn't already on the ballot. I wonder what the deadline is to get signatures. I didn't ask any questions, and just said no thank you, but it seemed odd to me.

I've been trying to do some searching on the web to see what the ballot status is, but I couldn't find anything.

The deadline for Virginia is tomorrow, I believe, and Newt still doesn't have enough signatures. He is paying something like $1.00 per signature for people to go out and collect signatures.

In this state, the only name that needs to be on the ballot is Obama. Anyone else is just spinning their wheels.

Not really, its even more confusing. So the primary voting in Illinois pretty much means nothing for republicans? Now I am even more confused.

That's why we never see GOP candidates in our neck of the woods. I thought Rick Perry was wasting his money running campaign commercials in Illinois. I think he got some bad advice somewhere along the road...

1. Candidates buy blocks of ads for all over the country and don't always pick and choose which exact market the ads run in. Also, there is some overlap of ad markets in Illinois and Iowa.

2. Bush 41 endorsed Romney last time...I wonder if the outcome will be different this time?

Great. Bush 41 broke his promise on taxes, but we should believe the slime-bag Romney is okay? He's not.

I'd bet money that Bush Sr isn't so much for Romney, as he is against Gingrich. That seems to be the common them lately. People are starting to remember why they hate Gingrich, and the next best choice (which ain't a good one) is Romney.

AV8R,

I have seen you post comments like this before, what is your problem with Romney? It's a serious question, you are vehemently opposed to him but accept the others. What has he done or stands for that you disagree with?
