At least via the dream act and this, Obama is actually trying to attach some legitimacy to it.

Between your Obama bashing and repetetive Religion forum posts, bro, you're really turning into a broken record

Why is that because I stick to my beliefs and won't let you brainwash me or influence my belief system? Guess I am a bit more strong willed then some.

No he isn't, pure and simple ILLEGAL means they are breaking the LAW...You know that thing that people want to have enforced when it is helpful but when they don't like it they want to ignore it. You can't have it both ways, either have laws or lets become a lawless society and let the chips fall as they may.

You can not tell me that as a vet you didn't have one person who at one time was an illegal in any unit you where in. I had 2 in my unit they are now citizens of our country and they worked hard to become that. As a combat vet you have to trust with everything in you every other man in your unit and you don't care where they came from as long as they cover your butt and you cover theirs. so there are times that we have to have it both ways. A 3 year old can not go to INS and ask to get a green card. Face it illegal immigrants are good for the economy they pay 100 times more in taxes than they use in food stamps and medical. We have the cheapest food in the world and these people are a big part of that. They are hard workers and if they want to become part of our great country then we should give them a chance. but if they are thugs kick their butts out.

To hear Seal tell it, I'm certain he's never driven 56 mph in a 55 mph zone. He's always slowed down to 45 prior to entering that construction zone. We are after all "a nation of laws" and those laws seem pretty black and white to good ol'Seal.

I don't get that impression at all. But, I bet if he got pulled over for breaking the law, he would accept the consequences.

I wonder how he'd feel if he were arrested for reckless driving doing 25 mph over the limit while enroute to the hospital with one of his relatives in the car in medical distress?

Trooper: "sorry about your sister sir, but the law is the law, and you were in violation of it. You're under arrest."

Seal: "I understand, officer. We are a nation of laws and they must be enforced at all times regardless of any extenuating or mitigating circumstances. I accept the consequences. Goodbye sister...."

I break the law and get caught I pay the find and move on. It's called personal responsibility.

Like I said before, I find out and ILLEGAL is around I will report them and the person harboring them. Don't like it, deal with it.

AV8R your only issue with this is the fact that you are personally involved with former illegals, or so you claim.

Correct me if I'm wrong (and I may be), but do states necessarily have to follow the executive orders of the federal government? For years, states have made laws tougher than that of the federal government, so don't state's rights supersede any "executive order" that Obama may spit out.

No. State laws can be stricter than federal, but they can't be more lax. And, according to the administration, immigration enforcement is a federal issue, hence why they sued Arizona.

When you break the law, are your children responsible for your crime. If you are serving a twenty year sentence...and you die half way through, should your children go to prison to finish paying the punishment for your crime.

Our legal system makes allowances for juveniles...so our immigration should too.

Immigration is different. By being here illegally, they are breaking the law as well. If I rob a bank with my parents, and don't know it's illegal to rob a bank, am I still breaking the law?

I didn't realize that laws didn't apply until I reach a certain age. I wish I had known this younger, I could have had more fun.
