I'm not trying to get the last word.
This is simple discussion.
As far as the paper, I look at it every week, too anbd all I see are mosrketing jobs, like the companies I've worked for since I moved here and outside sales job, which I can't take since I don't have a vehicle.
BTW, according to Salaries.com, a graphic design job, in Peoria, with several years experience, no real formal training should pay 44,000 a year.
55,000 if your a department head.
With training and alot of experience, that goes up dramatically.

Like i said, anyone want to point the finger to where these great jobs I keep hearing you, all refer to, please do!

the trick to landing a good job in ANY town is to disregard the paper completely and go knocking on doors. the majority of businesses will not advertise in the paper. i can't tell you how many bosses i've worked for that have told me they will never announce a position simply because they get the same people applying for it again and again--people they don't want to hire. they'd rather advertise via word of mouth.

Yeah, I agree with that.
I seriously don't even know where to start.
Not having a car is a pain, but the best I can do, for right now, is networking and hoping I meet the right person that knows the right people, lol

I find it amazing how some people who say what or what not of McCain and whether he cheated on his wife or not, are the same people who impeached a President for getting a BJ in office. Double standards. These are the same people who are offended when one party (theirs) is pointed out to have faults but has no problem pointing the finger at the opposing party's faults. Double standards.

Fact of the matter is this: We have almost 8 years of Bush and his party.
He has lied to the American people, not for a BJ but for a war.
We have tripled the price of gas. Had Col. Sanders been elected President and chicken prices tripled, he would want his head yet we do nothing with Bush. Why? Because if we impeached him we would get Cheney who is even worse.
Our home prices are falling, we are in a recession, jobs are far and few between. (I don't mean food service)
Do we need another 4 years of this? No
I'd vote for Edi Amin before I would vote for another republican like McCain. He is a hero, he has served in war (can't say that about Cheney and Bush) and he deserves our respect but he doesn't deserve the White House. Retire John and someone give him a plaque.

Damn it Hip, for a minute I thought Em had an original idea, then you go and blow it for me. No pun intended.

Em, Bill used up his free pass on raping Juanita Broaddrick, and Democrats still put him in the Oval Office...twice. McCain hasn't even begun to get close to the new standard of conduct set by Clinton.

Pay my mortgage, buy my groceries, and give me 75% of your paycheck, it'll help with your recovery.
