Apple is being singled out. Samsung, HTC, and Motorola do the same thing. You guys carrying smart phones, are ya?

I think the focus is on Apple because they have $100 billion in cash and can certainly afford to require that suppliers make employee safety a higher priority.

Yes. they are all made the same way. I got rid of my smart phone because it kept dropping calls. I still have a cell phone though and I'm sure its made the same way. I did ask for a made is USA phone and was laughed at. Motorola, Nokia, and Qualcomm assemble phones here, but the components are all from asia.

So, because they are wildly successful, they should be held to a higher standard than HTC, Samsung, HP, and the like?

Well then, just don't use a cell phone, because they're all pretty much made the same way, not just smart phones. The add in just about anything made in China....
