Lawyers can handle real estate transactions. And there are more lawyers than pilots, JnJ. Pilots take you to nice destinations...lawyers take you to court.

I report, you decide.

Even if schools had the option of spanking kids the parents would have the right to opt out. The parents that have no interest in disciplining their kids probably have no interest in anyone else disciplining their kids either.

If the kids don't get the spanking for acting up, the parents should receive it for not teaching their offspring how to behave properly. "Bend over Mr. Jones, here come your four swats!"

I do think that schools need to teach parents what is expected of the parents while the children attend school. What a shame that parents need to be taught how to be parents but it is something that needs to be done.

To use my oft said line: When they throw all the Realtors out of this country, I hope they all have a lawyer under each arm....

If the Realtors hadn't been writing contracts on risky buyers, then taking them back to their greedy brokers to push through the finance companies, we would have a market full of nervous nelly buyers now....

We had corporal punishment when I was in grade school all those years ago. The threat of a spanking was a big deterrent to the kids who acted out. The worst kid in my class got spanked ONCE by the teacher during the entire school year. The rest of us got to hear but couldn't watch. Believe me, no one else wanted to be in this kid's place.

we got swats at my school also. i always felt bad for the kid who had to walk back into class. they were embarrassed! i think that every single school should bring back school uniforms.

Well whadayaknow... it had to do with drugs afterall.

"Pattelli said the apparent motive was to get drugs and money from Johnnie Whitehead."

If buyers had made responsible decisions and not bought houses they could not afford we wouldn't have nervous nelly buyers right now.

Some people, both the banks and potential buyers don't have too much common sense sometimes. I mean I just look at what I was told. I was told I could spend far more on a house than I did. I'm glad I spent about 40,000 less because I could have lost it several years ago. But people hear that and "because the bank said so", go crazy.

I agree...I was approved for about double the amount I ended up spending. I knew I couldn't afford it...so I didn't buy it. But, I am perfect.

I agree...I spend way to much on other stuff to have to spend a fortune on a house payment.
