I always suspected you were a believer. If you believe in Satan, you believe in God.
Welcome to the flock, worm.

I was born in Bloomington but my family moved to California when I was 10. I knew as we were pulling out of the driveway that morning that I would be back. It took 22 years (and with a 3 year detour in Reno) but I moved back almost 7 years ago. My whole family is back here now and we all live within 10 minutes of each other. i love it here and can't imagine raising my daughter anywhere else.

I believed false promises and lies. Then she took about $8000 of mine, left me with a house I couldn't afford on my own, and I couldn't afford to go anywhere else.
The rest of the time here I guess I just settled. |

Sign me up. I got suckered into moving here by the Husband. It hasn't been as bad as I'd hoped though.

I had no choice.
I was a retired Army Brat riding here in the backseat of a 1965 Chevrolet Capirce, while the Sarge made his way here, at the beckoning call, of his Father & Mther who had seen him for a total time of about 30 days, in 20 years. He was the only one of our family living here, who did not work for the Big Yello Jello. He worked for The Brewery, in The Heights. When they existed, they treated their employees better, than the Big Yello Jello. Then we voted a Movie Actor into the Oval Office, and a Cadaverous Wall Street Raider, attempetred, a hostile takeover, he was about as old as Ronnie, and nearly wrecked, PBR. PBR is still available at ridiculous prices. Made us a good living, till America changed when we fell in love with a horsehit Movie Actor, who taught us Modern Way Republicanis need to act to Stay Hip |

I believe the following. I'm sure Hip is very close to this. I know for a fact that Pock is with me on this one:
I believe in one God, the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth, and of all things visible and invisible. And in one Lord Jesus Christ, the only-begotten Son of God, begotten of the Father before all worlds; God of God, Light of Light, very God of very God; begotten, not made, being of one substance with the Father, by whom all things were made. Who, for us men for our salvation, came down from heaven, and was incarnate by the Holy Spirit of the virgin Mary, and was made man; and was crucified also for us under Pontius Pilate; He suffered and was buried; and the third day He rose again, according to the Scriptures; and ascended into heaven, and sits on the right hand of the Father; and He shall come again, with glory, to judge the quick and the dead; whose kingdom shall have no end. And I believe in the Holy Ghost, the Lord and Giver of Life; who proceeds from the Father and the Son; who with the Father and the Son together is worshipped and glorified; who spoke by the prophets. And I believe one holy catholic and apostolic Church. I acknowledge one baptism for the remission of sins; and I look for the resurrection of the dead, and the life of the world to come. |

The war ended the day my grandfather finished boot camp. He finished out his service and returned to Tupelo, MS.
As there wasn't much going on in Tupelo (and still isn't), a few months later he took off walking down the road and made his way to East Peoria to work at Big Yellow. 6 kids, 3 grand kids and 2 great-grand kids and we're still here. |
