i wasn't one to reward my kids for helping every single time. they definately got a thank you and good job! i really wanted them to take pride in their work.

i made the mistaqke when my girls were lil . i felt i could do it myself better then them . so now its a fight to get them to help out . so yes start young . pull up a chair and have her help ya wash dishes . fold clothes / throw in hamper . it will pay off in long run .
and i dont agree w just because its a mom they get custody either
