This just in! Christine O'donnel recieved yesterday $950,000 in internet donations alone. I would like to check out that new restaurant in Junction City. Hopefully that won't be too expensive for you.

I hope you and others like you, particularly the ones who can VOTE in Delaware keep up this great train of thought. Because the more you try to tear her down, the more she will become an urban legend in the eyes of citizens. She will become a beacon of light for every person who has lost their job, not been able to pay their mortgage, struggled with debt. I will dance in glee every time MSNBC and the Leslie's of the world throw mud at this young girl. And when her opponent does it, as he has and will most assuredly continue to do, he will look like the big spending, bully burueacrat that he is and it will seal his political doom. So slime away! I wonder if that new restaurant has crab stuffed filet?

Here is another prediction: The Republican party will get in lock step with her, endorse, advise and support her. They will realize that no matter what her flaws, she is far better than the alternative.

Hey, as a side note:
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/39180968/ns/health-healt You may or may not know this former PDC'er. It would seem that at least part of Obamacare is worthwhile, despite the extreme right's constant whining. |

Sarah Palin is becoming more influential by the moment. She is changing the face of politics/government. In fact, I believe the primary win of Christine O'donnell is a product of her influence. I'm not sure that I follow you there, Shifty. You are obviously thinking in the very short term.
Another emerging trend - the bullying and crucification of conservative women. Ordinary citizens will take notice, and it will not sit well. They will subconsciously substitute their conservative niece/parent/child/friend. Prepare for a significant backlash against any media/politician that "Palinizes" O'Donnell. Hmmm... any other suggestions other than 309? |

Hey Les, I'm shocked by your lack of an equally aggressive assault on Obama's Czars - a majority of whom have their own credit/default problems. Beginning with head money czar, Treasury Secretary Tim Guenther. But I guess that's OK with you cause he's the "right" political party. I get it.

I don't think my lack of an assault on Geitner has anything to do with the party and more to do with how little I know on the subject. You don't see me pushing for Alexi Genoulious, who is a Democrat, because I don't know anything about him. But...you didn't hear me defending John Edwards for his campaign finance issues either, did you?
I think you are the pot calling the kettle black on the "right party" topic. You know nothing about O'Donnell, by your own admission you saw her for the first time the night she won, and yet here you are defending her as if she is your child. I also asked you in an earlier post which of her policies you were for and a few other questions about her but you ignored it. As far as the "Palinization" of O'Donnell...if O'Donnell is as big of an idiot as Palin, which by all accounts she is, then the media won't have to do anything to make her look bad, she will do it all on her own. |

"I also asked you in an earlier post which of her policies you were for"
Duh. That's a no-brainer. Smaller, less intrusive, more fiscally responsible federal government. "f O'Donnell is as big of an idiot as Palin, which by all accounts she is, then the media won't have to do anything to make her look bad, she will do it all on her own." One persons idiot is another persons hero. Don't want to get down on the mat on this one but let there be no doubt that some of your heros would be my idiots. |

Geithner versus Palin? Really? lol Oh dear... There really isn't a contest here. You don't have to agree with anything Geithner has done to know that Palin isn't even close to being in his league.
Palin does have her niche tho. Palin is the embodiment of anti-intellectualism, which sadly is a growing phenomena. |

Elections are first and foremost popularity contests. Who wins an election isn't the same as being the most qualified or the smartest person in the room. Did I really need to explain that?
