Yes, there are ALOT of different reasons people cheat and people make all kinds of excuses for why they did. To many people want to blame the person that was/is cheated on....

Yeah, that's a pretty common thing... the victim tends to rationalize the action "well, if I hadn't have done actions a,b, and c, I wouldn't have made him/her so angry at me." Compound that with the abuser oftentimes saying "It's YOUR fault I had to throw that vase at the wall -- I told you that if dinner wasn't ready at 5, I would be angry. It's now 5:01"

I never felt any of it was my fault and now that its all said and done and I finally got out, he see's the error of his ways.....to bad!! I feel sorry for the GF he has now. Good luck to HER

Women marry men hoping they will change, but they don't.
Men marry women hoping they won't change, but they do.

Cheating isn't ok, and 99% of men KNOW that. Men cheat when they're not getting what they need at home....love, affection, sex, conversation, whatever.

Call this a sexist statement if you want, but if you don't want your man to cheat, make sure to take care of him (like you did when you first got married).

I won't flog you, but I will remind you that women cheat for the same reasons men cheat.

Cheating has been going on since the beginning of time and will continue till the end. It is what it is and yes I myself have been cheated on and know well the feelings it invokes.

A woman or a man can have all the love, affection, sexuality seeping from every pore of their body, it is not going to keep anyone from cheating, people cheat because they don't give a da*m about anyone else but themself!!

Flipper- sexual attraction is not based solely on how a person looks, but more importantly, how they make their partner FEEL!

Why is it that some women repeatedly marry/date men that end up cheating on them, could not be any fault of the women? I mean once yes, three or four guys you have dated or married have cheated on you, its you period.

I respectfully disagree Flip. 99% of HAPPILY married people are not going to cheat. When people get unhappy, that's when they start looking for somewhere else to go

Could a happily married dude get blown at the office party and still be happily married?? Kind of like the tree in the forest thing?

I think there are 3 kinds of cheaters:

1. The person that gets drunk at the Christmas party and makes a bad desicion, and feels horrible about it.

2. The person who is not happy in the marriage, starts talking to a co-worker and it evolves from there to a sexual realationship.

3. The a@@holes who are so selfish that they don't care who they hurt, they are going to bang whatever they can.

You can't pinpoint a "reason" on any of these scenarios, there are so many reasons.
