bath or shower person?
May 16, 2009 - 10:54 pm
I prefer showers. I hate sitting in my own filth. I prefer to watch it go down the drain.

When in Ireland at B&Bs, I found that if you did NOT request a shower..you most likely got a room with a tub. I kneeled and washed off...it was awful. I learned quickly to ask for the shower!

Definitely shower. I like bath only when I'm doing it for relaxation and quiet. I never take a bath just for the purpose of becoming clean, I'm with you Sahm, how do you get clean when in dirty bath water. yuk!

Prefer showers. I'm even a little funny about a hot tub. I mean who knows who else has been there ?

I hate hot tubs, never go in them either. I usually am not weird about germs, but they have to be infested with more things than I care to think about.

I'm o.k. with pools, but there are tons of chemicals there...

I'm fine with a pool...unless there are 'floaters'...

I feel confident about chemicals in pools..

Shower...unless I'm soaking to ease the tired muscles. I'm not too concerned about hot tubs. I used the one (when living on Hilton Head Island) all the time. But I think the thing was highly doused with chemicals as I smelled like Clorox and it dried my skin out. The warm sulphur springs in Colorado are da bomb!

Showers, if I had the money, I would turn my bath into a step in shower. I love how they look.

yeah...pretty much hate for me..

oh..and I pretty much don't like giving them to my kids either. We recently replaced the shower head in our bathroom so that it is a removable spray type..and now the kids get a very quick scrub down so mommy isn't spending 2 hours doing baths. Takes us about 20 minutes now..with scrub down, towel-dry, lotion, combing out and blow-drying the hair! Much easier!..and much better on my back!
