Despite her missteps (caving to Bradley on the parking deck, caving to the museum folks on the Sears block, lack of support for the Heart of Peoria Commission), I actually think she still does a good job for the second district overall. She's supported the Land Development Code, form districts, facade improvement program, sidewalk/street improvements, ornamental lighting restoration (controversial as it was -- at least she's fighting for her district, unlike the first district councilman), and I'm actually pretty happy with the new Public Works Director (so far), whom she helped choose. So, at this point I'm likely to support her in the next election if she runs for second district.
If she runs for mayor, though, that's a different story.
