Refreshing, another person who is familiar with Alice Cooper before his windfall and stardom.
I have a cut of his Refrigerator Heaven on a vinyl album from around 1969, 1970. Fun song. That was when Frank Zappa produced them on his Straight/Bizarre record label. Alice Cooper had done a show in Venice CA and emptied the joint in the first ten minutes. Zappa signed them on.
They never cut the muster in California and went back to the Midwest where they hit it big.
I mostly saw him in the summers of 1967 - 69. Didn't know this story but I sure do remember his concerts. (well, maybe I should make that I wish I could remember more details about his concerts - ha ha ! !)
