Crappy food, not much danger to the dogs from salmonella, Heck dogs can eat spoiled meat all day long and not get sick. The feces of the dogs can contain the bacteria and that might be harmful to humans if you were to somehow ingest it. Feed your doggies good quality food and you are a lot less likely to run into these recalls.

I believe most all of those foods are "grocery level" food.....

grocery store level ?  you can buy the same dog food at the petstores so what makes them any diff ? please explain . because i can buy iams at walmart or the petstore and its same thing .i can get pedigree there too

They are grocery level if they are sold at grocery stores and pet chains....You cant get premium foods @ grocery stores...but you can get grocery level at chain stores...

I generally use the pedigree brand dog foods. It's usually all they will eat.

If anyone wants to try something different that is premium and isnt really too expensive i say proplan or nutro...they are really good, not horribly expensive and your dog actually needs less premium food because there arent as many fillers!
