Grandview and while your at it, hit Fondulac Drive on the East Peoria side. With any luck the change of leaves will have begun. You could do the spoon river drive. That's always nice.
To give you an idea... this is Grandview through my inexperienced eye. No matter what, it's beautiful. Especially in the fall.

ooops.. did I miss the boat on this one? I thought you was looking for sights... as in scenery.. YIKES!! If your looking for food (and for a small fee of course) I could pm you directions to Chef's house, but make sure you bring plates, forks and knifes, sit comfortably on his porch and chant "Chef, Chef, Chef" melodically as he pulls in the drive. He really loves that.
Oh.. the Spirit of Peoria is a pretty cool ride. Or at least it used to be when it was the Julia Bell Swain. Am I showing my age here?  |

A few of us PDC'ers took a Spirit of Peoria Cruise just a few weeks ago. It was AWESOME!

I was so taken with this view that it became my screen saver while I was in Florida my last year.
