Apparently, one or two may have stayed.

I can reccomend a website to you if your looking to relocate.

If I need a website, I'll make one, man. Thanks nonetheless.

Anyway, we can play more later if you wish. For now, I'm off to the "peace & quiet" of the political board. Ciao, baby!

SS. If you responded, I don't know it, so let this be my final rant to you. I realize there are a couple of the ladies here that think you're real nice, and that's all good, and if I said something that offended you personally, please accept my sincere apology. We may have the occasion to meet in public at one of our functions. I don't want to have any tension, because this is all in fun, and I respect the ladies that think you're cool. You are now on my iggy, and I simply won't be reading your b u l l s h i t psuedo sarcastic rants and drivels from your crazy mind anymore, ok? So based on that alone, feel free to rant on and on and on with your 900- 1600 word posts that no one reads ( including me), and have a lot of fun here . best wishes to you and yours.

Oh my... you boy's have not been playing nice.

{{{{{{{Kev}}}}}}}} Your an angel for being so concerned about my feelings. Thank you so very, very, very much.

And Shadow, please don't be too concerned I'm not hurt in the slightest. I do hope you were joking about the fridge You were weren't you?

All else, thanks so much for your replies.. Raoul, I will definitely keep your friend in mind. My brother did finally show up today around 5ish and took the door lock off the car because he said a key code is not available for my car. Something about the year... I don't know. I've been told it's going to be another day.

I know, I should have called your friend, but with me at work I didn't know what I could do other than tell him to fix it and I'll pay him when I got home. I doubt he would do that for me. So I'm just going to have to deal with it another day. Unless there's someone out there who could hot wire the car.

More things have happened, I'm not going to burden any of you with it. I've got posts to catch up with here then I've got a few pm's in my mail box. Suffice to know I just got home, scarfed down a cup of soup (I was starved because I was so upset earlier I forgot to eat lunch) and now I'm just going to unwind.

Take care everyone.. love you all...

Christi

This is hardly my first time on the message board scene. No one is ever liked or disliked by everybody else. Sooner or later, chasms appear, separating people by various gulfs -- liberal vs conservative ... believer vs non-believer ... longwinded poster vs those who never form a whole sentence -- on and on, so on and so forth.

That is the way of life. That is simple human nature. This forum is a fine place ... and yet we all remain people, subject to the "human rules of operation" which our species has followed since walking the earth.

There's no need for any apology, man. You did nothing more or less than what I did my own self ... we batted a ball back and forth, venting ourselves during that process. If anybody owes anyone an apology, that would be me for the whole group. Living alone for as long as I have may have caused my social skills to grow rusty from too little use. The "innocent bystanders" who happened by this "colorful" thread may have been caught by surprise ... and they are the ones to whom my apology is primarily directed.

Should we ever meet at a PDC-sponsored function, I will gladly shake your hand and have a good laugh ... one that I hope you'll be willing to share.

Take care, God bless ... and good night!

Thank goodness you've finally appeared! I can't tell ya how much I've waited for your response above all others. Only a fool refuses to ponder that he or she may have been wrong about something ... and believe me when saying, I was desperately wondering whether or not I'd hurt your feelings!

Now that this matter is apparently resolved, it's easy to have a good laugh at all aspects of the situation -- how Kev and I did our raving dance ... how other folks interjected throughout ... how it all even once briefly transposed to an entirely different thread ... sheesh, and double-sheesh!!

One thing I find of particular interest is how in the world anyone could think that my tale, as a whole, was true! Yes, I do have an unplugged icebox. And yes, I forgot to remove the food, which became apparent after two short days {since cleaned, of course}. Those components were fully believable.

Yet when I proceeded with the stuff that followed ... like leaving the putrid food in place, infested with a gazillion dead gnats, while wrapping the whole contraption up with a few hundred feet of aluminum foil ... then having the nerve to say that I'd sell it for an outrageous $100 ... I just can't imagine how anyone anywhere could possibly have thought that true in the least!

There comes a point in every "tall tale" where the hyperbole grows so extreme that the fact it's all fabricated becomes an entirely self-evident truth ... or at least that's the way it's supposed to happen, according to my "Telling Tall Tales" manual. And yet, alas, as Shakespeare said ... the best made plans of mice and men have often gone astray.

Now that I know all is well ... and having finished my post on the political forum ... I'm off to catch a wee bit of rest, after a little game time, of course!

No big deal Shadow... tongue and cheek don't always show up in an environment like this. It's easy to misunderstand. I was touched all by their concerns over my feelings. It's been a rough week and not much light showing at the end of that tunnel yet. I'll be happy when this is over. Don't worry, I understand.

Over all, don't worry.... if I'm offended, I'll give you hell.

Take care,

Christi

I realize mine might be the odd man out opinion, but SS post on the fridge had me really bustin a gut.
