217 ? where are you that u have a 217 area code ?

Cell phone most likely Diez.. ported out to the local area. Champaign perhaps? Which means it won't be long distance but some toll charges may apply. I have the same problem with mine.. a 630 area code.

Wow you guys. What's the fuss in regards to Jays area code? Can we debate about something more interesting? Like perhaps how fast do toenails actually grow?

Just so you know, we live in a GLOBAL economy these days, ( it is 2008 ya' know) and the AREA CODES on phone #'s simply don't matter anymore. Jay USED to live in the 217 area code and NOW he lives in the 309 area code, but to simplify things, he hasn't changed his phone number. PLUS, we happen to still do business in the Champaign area and all over the State, so in regards to how far we're driving, that doesn't matter either. We are in business to succeed, and to serve our customers with respect, and treat them like gold, as THEY are the ones that ultimately write the paychecks. If more businesses had this philosophy, I believe we'd all be in better shape. Don't you ? BoomDone
