The 5th day after my son had this done (he was 2) was the worst for him and after that he got better....Just lots of TLC, popsicles, ice cream and Jello. Feel better soon, baby.

Hi, It took me awhile to get on the computer today. He is doing okay. It's 9pm and he just now fell asleep!
I can't believe he stayed awake all day! He was so tired!
Honestly, it was miserable for awhile. He had to take a sedative before hand and when he woke up he was dry heaving and just in so much pain. I am grateful it's over! I am hoping tomorrow is better. Everyone has said the fifth day is the worst. Thank you for all your thoughts and prayers!

Lots of ibuprofen, lots of love.... lots of new toys!!!

I hope you have at least a day or two off!

How's he doing today?

Better. He just isn't sleeping. It is so strange. I put him to bed at 8pm tonight. Maybe that will do the trick! He was up almost all last night. Crazy! I am so glad I took the week off!

Benadryl, that is what we do before a dentist apt.

I took a week off from work myself when my son had this done at 2yrs old (22yrs ago!) and felt like I needed another week for ME when it was all said and done
