PJS just posted a brief alert on it. This is very far North Peoria. I've always said, negative actions can happen anywhere, not just South End or East Bluff.

But we'll see what's going on here first. Might just be a domestic incident.

I live about two miles from there, and I was outside around 8 am this morning. There were tons of sirens going off, so I figured either a bad fire or accident. That's a nice quiet neighborhood so I hope this all ends peacefully.

If he was suicidal the coroner would be there not the police. I think this has to do with viacom cutting off Spongebob, the guy lost it. What's left of the morning if not a few minutes of the sponge.

Listen to the scanner feed on radioreference.com. Sounds like it could be over. Officers asking for the ambulance.

@meanjarhead:

Not here, I rarely am surprised by people's actions. I always think, dear lord again, when will these people learn.

maybe they froze her welfare payments from annual cost of living increases. She's entitled to that money y'know. I'd be mad too.

This is the same women who told my daughter she couldn't ride her bike in front of her house. A few days later when her daughter and Airen kept arguing over toys and I sent her child home she actually came down and told me I had no right to tell her child she couldn't play in my yard. This is after this same child took one of Airen's toys, ran home and locked the toy in her house. That afternoon I went down and knocked on the door and asked for the toy back. The women says to me "Your knocking on my door over a little plastic toy?" I told her yes I was because stealing toys is wrong.

One evening last week her little boy came down to play (he is a sweatheart unlike his sister). It turned out that we were just starting to eat our dinner form Taco Bell. He came over and wispered to Airen asking if he could have a bite. When she gave him one he said very nicely "thank you" I asked him if he was hungry and he said yes. They had not had any food in their house for 2 days. He then quickely looked around and said "but please don't tell my mom I told you that. I'm not supposed to tell." Needless to say I fed him that evening.

FYI - MJH did not know about most of these incidents until after this morning so no he was not trying to get revenge. She is just not a nice lady nor a good parent. Did I mention she is 8/9 months pregnant? AND they only moved in approx 1 1/2 months ago.

@meanjarhead:

Sorry dear - he was hungry. I'm not about to let ANY child go hungry even if I have to (which wasn't the case) reguardless of his parentage. I hate to say it but Mom going to jail may have been the best thing to happen to these two children.
