Thumbs up for Boehner...
By: leslie110

Speaker John Boehner showed a sliver of daylight with Republican presidential front-runner Mitt Romney Tuesday morning, saying it’s inappropriate to criticize an American president while he’s traveling overseas.

The Ohio Republican was asked Tuesday morning about whether he agrees with Romney that Russia is the United States’ number one geopolitical foe. He declined to engage.

“Clearly the president is overseas,” Boehner said after a closed meeting of House Republicans. “He's at a conference and while the president is overseas, I think it’s appropriate that people not be critical of him or of our country.”

Boehner is the only elected House Republican leader who hasn’t endorsed Romney – Majority Leader Eric Cantor (R-Va.) and Whip Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) are on Romney’s team.

I disagree. One should speak freely regardless of the circumstance.

I think she is referring to the overheard conversation... when he didn't know his mic was on.

Although I disagree. IMO, that's just wishing something bad will happen because he is deceitful to the American ppl. But really, I'm sure he's not the first prez to hold off on "real" discussions until after elections are done.

I heard it on a non-Fox channel, weed. But, I don't mind providing you a link. I'm assuming this is what is being referred to in the comment about being deceitful.

He's been deceitful since the campaign, it's never stopped or even taken a break. You're just barely shocked now?

Nothing misleading about it, or controversial. You think Obama doesn't expect to win?? Anyone that goes into battle expects to win, I would hope and what he said made perfect sense; once the election is over, he'll have more time to focus on the subject.

You friggin' righttards will try to pin anything you can on Obama and try to make it sound like a controversy.

I can't wait til after this election so I can flaunt that a black, Muslim, non-american liar just won a 2nd term as POTUS in the faces of all of you that have put as much energy as you can muster into helping to spread every right wing whacked out iota if rhetoric you could gleam your eyes on!

A game changer??? OMG!!! I am amazed at the impact of your political stupidity every time you try to sound like have a clue as to what you're talking about.

ONE TIME, and my jaw would hit the floor, if you actually expressed an educated opinion that didn't come from a Fox News web site, reporter or political show host.

You know what the REAL game changer is? that the stupidity and ineptness of the Republican party showed it's entirety when your side couldn't finds one viable candidate to run for office and instead, basically conceded the next four years by giving us some of the worst examples of presidential candidates this country may have ever seen in one group.
