I just had the best chili cheese dog with mustard and onions and onion rings from Spotted Cow, but I know I'll be regretting it later.

What are your 'regret-it-later' meals?

3-pepper (out of 3) prik king shrimp.

5-Guys cheeseburger w/jalepenos + french fries.

that doughnut that wasn't necessarily my first.

that last cosmo.

okay, so the cosmo isn't really a meal, but....

A sandwich that i know and love as the big stinky.

Apples

Cabbage

Steak & Shake Chili or their chili 3- ways with extra meat.

They cause my gout to flare up.

ah... well :un-laugh: meant no disrespect.

That's OK. I know it sounds funny. But I really love apples, so it kinda sucks.

Scrapple. I was so hungry that I ate it. It was nasty.

I had never heard of "scrapple" before, so I looked it up! there were pictures. Thank goodness I ate already, otherwise I think I would have lost my appetite! LOL

I was hoping you would all make me feel better with your posts because I'm very pregnant and EVERYTHING either gives me heartburn, gas/belching or makes me run to the bathroom...
but all you got is apples and Scrapple?

I don't even get the apple issue..but Scrapple I could sort of understand..reminds me of liverwurst..then fried..GAG...

I know caffeinated drinks can give one horrible heartburn but I can't seem to give up iced tea..and I've really been trying to stay away from coffee drinks..but it's really difficult.

I had gout once in one of my big toes and it was pure misery. I could not even stand the sheet to touch it when I went to bed. Do they have you on long term gout meds ?

No. I just get something when it flares up. That usually takes care of it within 36 hrs. As long as I watch what I eat, it's ok. One time, my big toe swelled up so much, the skin split open. That smarted a might. But dang, who doesn't like apples?
