You say "recapture" like he ever had any dignity.

Iam sure at one time he did what he is claims to be is a wonderful thing. however thinking that he is allmighty and we need to send him money to pay for his softcore porn site where he spins the truth and speaks bad about the women in poeples lives is a crock beyond crocks. He can claim to be an athiest but the way he begs for money means he took notes the few times he has been to church. This guy begs for money almost as much as the crack head in front of the shell station.

In all fairness to Billy Dennis, his influence is probably the reason most area bloggers started and still exist. I wonder how many use his blogpeoria.com hosting site for free?

While I'm not in favor of the eye candy and begging for donations, I know that Mr. Dennis has hit a rough patch in his life at the moment and I hope his current version of blogging subsides once his health, job situation, etc. improves.

I think some of us old school bloggers, like CJ Summers, PeoriaIllinoisan, Ramble On, Emtronics, etc. remember the day when Billy's reporting and views of Peoria where something to be reckoned with. I also know he help(ed)s new bloggers out by answering all sort of questions from design to libel to linking, etc.

Hopefully Mr. Dennis gets out of his funk and does the blogging that had set him at the pinnacle of Peoria's blogging scene.

MJH, I agree with you about the i-candy and the requests for $$. I just happen to know a better Billy Dennis from an earlier time and hope that he returns to that form sometime soon. Believe me, it is disappointing to see what he is doing now to what he has done in the past.

I would welcome that and if he called the city on the stuff the way that you do i would probably help him out but iam just not seeing it right now or in the near future.

And with CJ Summers of the Peoria Chronicle taking a blogging break, I agree this is where Billy should be at..leading the charge against the idiocy of our city council instead of blogging about every local advertiser whose ad appears during Fatass Limbaugh's show. The dude gets 1500 hits a day on his site, think of the impact that would make.

The dude pi$$ed me off when he called Terri a liar one day and was proven wrong the next day and did he say sorry ? no he didnt. he has alot of fixing to do on his image and he needs to get started on it now.

I question the accuracy of his claimed "hits".

At the advise of the chef i looked back at his old stuff and the chef is right and at one time he probably had 1500 hits but a turd is a turd until its flushed.

His blog used to be worth while, but it's pointless now. Nothing but left wing rhetoric, lame pictures, and begging for money.
