What was your favorite item of clothing when you were a teenager ?

I had a yellow terry cloth bikini that would make my parents cringe whenever I wore it.

I also wore those handkerchief tops... another thing that made my parents grumpy.

Jeans, black T-shirts with the sleeves cut off down to the waist, almost

I had a romper that I used to wear ALL the time. That was jr hi. In high school it was a big baggy shaker sweater from benneton..green and white striped.

.... hmmm, come to think of it, take the "bell bottoms" off the jeans and it sounds like what I like to wear now.... guess I never really grew up.

The first thing I did when I was paid from my first job was buy a pair of blue jeans! So, those. Until I made enough money to buy my own clothes I was at the mercy of my Mom who believed everyone in the mid 70's dressed like Greg Brady (Only if one wanted to get in many fights at school, Mom!)

Funny thing is if I had those Greg Brady type clothes now I could make a good wage selling them. Why, I'll never understand.

no clue...and that wasn't long ago. Anything comfy.
- Jeans
- Overalls (15+ years ago..they made a comeback..had some corduroy and denim ones)
- Beatles shirt
- sandals...basically year round, with socks in winter

Mostly jeans and collared shirts. Parents had issues with wearing concert T-shirts, etc. to school.

However, then and even now I loved a good suit. I spent a lot of money (well, then anyway) on a really nice suit..even wore it to school a few times. Just have a cheap-o one right now as no use for one.

Levi's 501's, still my favorite.
