Do you live in a fairly safe neighborhood?

Yes, ceonsidering I live on the edge of downtown, i feel very safe.

It has it's moments, but it's ok. I leave the doors locked though, for a reason

No. It's open to the public.

I also live in the North End, but on the edge by Glen Oak and Prospect. I feel pretty safe here, but it took a while for me to get to know the neighbors and the neighborhood. I could twist off one of my neighbor's head for the endless kids that she babysits but doesn't watch. On the other hand, I love my neighbor across the street to pieces. The sort of neighbor that brings you home made chicken soup when you aren't well.

i am not saying what a great neighborhood nor am i saying what a bad neighborhood. i am not going to jinx it.

I live on the other side of the tracks.

And I consider it safe, but that doesn't mean crime cant happen here.

I thought so until my house was broken into several years back. Didn't have problems before or since. But if I could sell my house for 85% of what I have into it, I'd move. It just isn't the neighborhood but the lack of common sense of our city council (minus Gary Sandberg).

I thought so, too, until a couple kids shot up the skating rink a couple nights ago.
