Singles group through meetup.com on the Peoria.com Forums

I hope it's ok for me to mention this here, but I run a Singles group through meetup.com. The idea is to create a group for people who want to meet new friends and explore Central Illinois. We will be scheduling a variety of events, several times a month and welcome single people from 18 to 81.

Our next event is on Friday, we will be going to the Live at the Five Spot event at the Contemporary Art Center. If you think you might be interested, please RSVP through meetup.com or just show up.

Could you give a break down of the age groups

Well, we have had two meetings and attracted people from lots of different ages. I wouldn't say there is a particular pattern yet.

An update on the Singles group. We had four events in March and the group is starting get some good momentum. The highlights were the Salsa night at CAC (which we are doing again in April) and last night's visit to Lenny's Comedy Cafe in Sunnyland. We already have 4 events scheduled for April and may add 1 or 2 more. Please check out the calendar of events for Peoria area singles.

No, I think typically at these type things you can do 3 or 4 people, at least it was that way a while ago. I am not sure how they work these days.
