My first question is, where can I file with Illinois for free?
Print, postage, mail?
We have some Roth IRA's. All we got were forms that say their market value, but we didn't contribute to them last year, is there anything I need to do?
The simple answer: Roth's are not deductible. You contribute to them post tax but withdraw them in retirement tax free. They don't figure into your yearly filings until you start making withdrawals.
Where can I find my Illinois property tax? We have something from the mortgage, but it doesn't say anything about what we paid to Illinois.
Property taxes are paid to the County. You should receive a 1098 form from your mortgage holder that indicates what you paid in property taxes (assuming the loan is escrowed). That 1098 also indicates how much interest you paid on your mortgage. If you paid property taxes directly, you should have a bill or look it up in your bank statements.
