what does chi town have to do w pekin and snow ? i know chi town sucks but is there a connection

Sorry, yes, I was referring to the snow in Chicago (thankfully it wasn't me, it was my hubby who was driving in it, but I heard about it all night).
Do you really have an upside down tree too? I got the idea back in 2002 when we were eating at a restaurant in Albuqerque. We were sitting at the table and halfway through we realized that we had an upside down Christmas tree hanging above us. Albuqerque also has one in its mall. My parents have been doing it for a few years but this was my first year because my tot kept knocking the tree down when it was rightside up and my cats kept knocking it over too. Now, nobody messes with it and the ornaments hang alot better.

yep well being a truckerswife i hear about i hate chitown all the time . hubby is isn now in wisc headed to minn hes not happy ya know theres more snow there .

Thanks for the visual of your tree stand. My Mom just told me about those but I couldn't visualize what she was describing. Is it at all tipsy?

I don't know Rand...this is the first year we have had it up. So far...knock on wood...it hasn't fallen! I also have a small one too! I think they are too cool! So, how did you hang yours from the ceiling?

We just have a Festivus Pole this year. Husband is Scrooge.
