A book from peoria.com member Norm Kelly, aka "historian"

Sadly, it's over my budget.

I wonder if Norm has some copies sitting around!

It's not Norm that is selling it, and I just spoke with him. He does not have any copies of his books lying around.( Of course all of my copies are precious to me as well) He was very responsible with the way he sold his books. Every time a book went to print, he only printed enough copies that were sure to sell. ( preorders etc.) AND, Every book that Norm sold was sold with a charity in mind. ( Norm never made ONE DIME selling his books) He donated all of the money to either the Journal Star Christmas Stocking Fund, The Handicapped Horse Riders club, or some other charity involving children. The guy that is selling "Lost in Yesterdays News" is simply an ebay dealer somewhere in the US. If anyone really wants to read any of Norms books, the Peoria Public Library downtown has a copy of all of his works.

The HISTORIAN is what/who sparked my interest in this site. I'm sure he has many tales to tell. I enjoyed his post's as well.

As do I, mckmary. Kevster, I did not mean to imply that Norm was selling on eBay. I get daily email alerts to any Peoria related books put up for sale and this happened to appear to my surprise.
