Paper plates
The host have to improvise when they are missing an ingredient
Someone refuse to eat it and only want cereal
Have to cook while doing 10 other things

That would be an interesting cooking show!

I look forward to cooking a meal..when it's convenient for 'me' and just leaving it on the counter or in the fridge and the kids and husband can reheat it when they are ready to eat. Currently, I feel like I'm in the kitchen from 5-7 or later..

I get home at about 5:45 everyday so by the time dinner is cooked, eaten, and cleaned up it is about 7:00...and I haven't even sat down and relaxed yet. I need more crockpot recipes...

what happens to the food they cook. if the crew even likes the cooking host or their food

Food channel had one of those competitions that was "food staging" - they had to present the food for the camera and they used everything from from paint to be sure the color looked "fresh" and cotton to fill in the mound of mashed potatoes.
