The Ventures

My old buddy Bob Bogle has passed away. He was one of the founders and lead guitar player for The Ventures. Bob was a great guy and always had funny stories to tell, especially about the early days of the band and touring in Japan. An awesome talent and responsible for dozens of world renowned songs, he will be missed. Bob was always great with young up and comers like me, and always treated us with respect. I last spoke to him a couple years ago in Vegas, and though I had not seen him in easily ten years, he remembered me right away. The music world is a poorer place today for his passing.

There is also a signature Ventures model, Mosrite. Pretty cool guitar.
