Hello Peoria.com! - My user name is Mr. Collector - Nice to meet you! One of the The reasons I decided to join is to meet other collectors. Thus I created collectors forum . I love to talk about collecting and hope you will too. However collecting is just one of my many interests. You will just have to read my posts and blogs to find out more about me. I am not really a new member far from it now. Just wanted to show you how easy it is and let you know I got to where I am now by making that first post then another. Hundreds of posts later I decided to become a blogger too. I have made some friends got people to laugh with and at me. Not everything went perfect but I have enjoyed life a lot more since I made my first post. Come see if it will do the same for you. Peoria .com is the place to be.

I'm kind've new. I read every day and respond occasionally but have never officially introduced myself. I am a Peoria native who has been living up in the 'burbs for 25 years now. I graduated from Peoria High School many moons ago. I am back in Peoria every other weekend to see my Mom who is in bad health. I am a league bowler (who bowls poorly but sure has fun), and work as a counselor for the State.
I'll try to participate more often in this rockin' board!

Hello Peoria.com! - My name is sammy - Nice to meet you! I am a retired special education teacher. I was looking for information about veterinarians around the Peoria area for my Bichon who is 11 yrs old and suffering w/nerve damage in one leg. It may also be some arthritis. Does anyone know if there is a vet practice that uses acupuncture or some other non invasive cure to ease pain. It sort of comes and goes but I hate to see her hurt. Winter is the worst time of year for her. The vets that have seen her say it is not broken and she does put weight on it when she is playing or excited about seeing me come home.

I am Floyd, and I run (ran?) the Central Illinois Gourmand blog. I'm actually living in Macomb for another few weeks, but will be back and hopefully dining out more, getting that blog up to date.

My wife and little kid, as I said, live here in Macomb while I finish my Bachelors at WIU, which will be done in three weeks.
