We are so blessed with the ability for modern science to find the early signs of a lot of diseases. Used to be they would find a problem when it was too late to treat them. I say take advantage of modern science and get the recommended tests no matter how unpleasant they may be. The alternative treatment is much more unpleasant.

Sooner than later, Christi, I hope? No one likes going but we do. It's no fun, or they would have called it "Disneyland".

Christi, don't you know how important it is to have Pap Smear yearly? Not decades!

If I didn't HAVE to go every year I wouldn't! They won't give me birth control if I don't get my yearly though.

You girls! LOL It's not THAT bad. Ever had a root canal? And I understand my upcoming colonoscopy will not be all that fun either! There are waaaay worst things in life....like a mammogram!

When the doc was down there yesterday he came up for air and said Ms. EG, I can't find anything wrong!" I told him, "Keep looking!"

Eg!!!!!!

If I didn't have to go every yr. I wouldn't, If I didn't give a da*n about my health I wouldn't go.

I've had a root canal and I'd much rather deal with the Gyno appt. over a root canal--anyday.

I have had a root canal.....a 5 hour long one. I'm not forced to do it every year though. And until recently it wasn't free for me, I thought it very disturbing I was required to do something yearly that I didn't have the money for. Thank goodness places like planned parenthood are around and go on a pay scale and payment plan.

Asleep? hmmmm.. perhaps they could put me to sleep? NOT happening.

When they finally dragged me in for emergency surgery the guy tried to put that little mask over my face? WHAT! Don't anyone pay attention to the notes? This little girl is claustrophobic. Don't ever cover my mouth like that. He's just damn lucky the gas kicked in before I did. I was literally taking a swing at him when it knocked me out. I just hope I made contact. I did notice he didn't bother to come by and visit afterward.

She already had 6 Adnilem....

Ya wanna know scary Christi. After my intial amputation, I had 2 other surgeries, I have nerve damage and at one point to control it I had to go for spinal injection, they would give me a shot to relax me, and after that I remembered nothing. But, it had to been done, just like going to the Gyno.
