The Tool & Gage House has an immediate opening for an entry level Quality Inspector on 1st, 2nd and 3rd shifts.

Job Summary

Perform inspections, checks, tests, and sampling procedures of materials, parts and components used in manufacturing and assembly in a plant setting.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

*Perform inspections of purchased parts, sub-assemblies or finished company products according to well-defined criteria using standard physical, mechanical and/o electrical measurements.
*Rework or reject products as required.
*Accurately document the results of the inspections and testing.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

*High School Diploma or equivalent
*Must have good English written and verbal communication skills
*Good arithmetic skills are required
*Mechanical aptitude desired
*Working knowledge of measurement instruments: i.e., calipers, OD mics, ID mics, etc.
*Basic proficiency of Microsoft Excel and Word
