Peoria Sports have steadily become a strong part of the Peoria community, with a variety of professional and collegiate Peoria, Illinois sports teams in action, playing at varying times of the year. While the City of Peoria is proud to be able to offer professional sports, we are equally as proud to offer a wide variety of amateur sporting programs, clubs, and associations.

Minor League Baseball Team founded in 1983. Re-affiliated with the Chicago Cubs after a brief associating with the St. Louis Cardinals from 1995-2004, this Midwest League team plays on O'Brien Field in downtown Peoria. |

Previously known as the Worcester IceCats, Springfield Indians, Syracuse Warriors, and the Springfield Kings, this American Hockey League Team is the third franchise to use the name "Peoria Rivermen" and began playing in October of 2005. Affiliated with the St. Louis Blues (NHL), they play at the Carver Arena in the Peoria Civic Center. |

This Junior B Hockey Team is a member of the Central States Hockey League and is affiliated with the Peoria Rivermen. They play at Owens Recreation Center at Lakeview Park during the season. |
Peoria College Sports

The Bradley Braves participate in baseball, basketball, cross country, golf, soccer, softball, tennis, track, field, and volleyball. Bradley's facilities consist of the Carver Arena, Detweiler Park, Laura Bradley Park, Markin Tennis Courts, O'Brien Field, Robertson Memorial Field House , Shea Stadium, and the WeaverRidge Golf Course.
